Lisa Heschong

Over a 45+ year career as a researcher, architect, author and educator, Lisa Heschong has been a vocal advocate for improving the daylight design of buildings, looking into how this affects human well-being and environmental health.

A graduate of UC Berkeley and MIT, she is a Fellow of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), and received the ARCC 2012 Haecker Award for Architectural Research.

Bernhard Wehrli

With a career spanning decades at both the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag), Prof. em. Bernhard Wehrli specialises in aquatic chemistry and the role that daylight plays in lake water composition.

He has served in several international advisory boards and was the director of studies at the Department of Environmental Systems at ETH Zurich from 2018 to 2021.
